In 2015, 65.3 million people were displaced from their countries, seeking asylum or refuge; These people are vulnerable to abuse and any kind of violence;
That is why the United States Embassy in Mexico and Mukira organized the Model of United Nations on the Refugee Crisis.
Students from high schools and universities with a high level of English and experience in United Nations models are invited to participate in the model in order to develop negotiation skills and held face global challenges; As well as to propose innovative solutions to the refugee crisis.
This project is focuse on preparing young leaders to replicate the Model of the United Nations in their own schools.
